In May of 2021, by coincidence (fate), Andrew and Lindsay ended up on the same train together from Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo. Seeing each other for the first time since high school, Lindsay confessed that she had developed a crush on Andrew from watching him on social media. Andrew confessed to having a crush on Lindsay all throughout high school. During the three-hour train ride, they talked, reconnected, flirted and drank sparkling wine. Unfortunately, timing was not perfect. After the train ride ended, they both left feeling interested in the other, but knew nothing could happen.

On February 21, 2022, the universe created yet another opportunity for them that could not be ignored. Andrew and Lindsay ran into each other twice on the same day on opposite sides of town, three hours apart. They hadn't seen each other since the train ride and the pull to each other was undeniable. Andrew was bold enough to ask Lindsay on a date. The first, second, third and fourth dates followed and unfolded beautifully. They spent every day together for two weeks before Andrew had to leave on a planned two-week London business trip. Before he left, he invited Lindsay to fly out from California and join him. Lindsay thought he was crazy, but she was also “completely in.” To recap: after only two weeks of dating, they planned a 9-day vacation to London, Cannes, Reims, and Paris. At this time, the developing connection between the two was so strong that before the trip Lindsay’s mother had jokingly told her daughter not to come back from Europe married. With several eye rolls and some laughs, Lindsay assured her mother that she wasn’t “that crazy.” 

During their European rendezvous, within the first few days in fact, they knew they were deeply in love with each other and they realized that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together. After a very long, beautiful dinner, 5 days into their adventure, on a rainy night with ocean views in the South of France, Andrew and Lindsay decided to make plans for the rest of their lives.

On April 1, 2022 in a secret ceremony, within the countryside of the Champagne Region in France, on a romantic, snowy, Spring evening, there was an intimate ceremony at Domaine Du Chalet. The crazy love birds eloped! 

Since then, they have spent time building their lives and their home together, traveling, working, planning a formal  wedding to share with friends and family and enjoying life with each other, families and joined friends. Life has, once again, blossomed into a new, beautiful world for Andrew and Lindsay.
